Former
National Youth Organizer of the Convention People's Party (CPP), James
Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr., has bemoaned the operations of the
Telecommunication regulators in the country.
According to him, the regulators have failed to effectively execute their official duties.
He
slammed the authorities of the Ministry of Communications and National
Communications Authority for poor work. To him, Ghanaians don't get
value for the money they invest in the Telecommunication networks.
“The
issues we have with them are as a result of the failure of the National
Communications Authority and the Ministry of Communications to their
job as required by law in this country. So, we, Ghanaians, don’t have
value for the money we pay," he said on Peace FM's flagship programme
“Kokrokoo”.
He therefore called on the Telecom networks to ensure
that Ghanaians get “value for money from them but in doing so, let’s do
it in accordance with the law.” |
