“Shameless Enterprise By A Cabal Of Creators, Looters And Sharers To Find Equals In Innocent People”

Central Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Kwamena Duncan has fired salvos at the Commission set up to investigate the payment of Judgement Debts by successive governments. According to Kwamena Duncan, the Commission wants to rope in the administration of the New Patriotic Party so as to seek equity on the issue. Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, Mr. Duncan explained that the Commission is not interested in investigating the judgment debts that were paid illegally to certain entities in the nation. He averred that the Commission is a "shameless enterprise" which wants to score points for the ruling National Democratic Congress. “If you give me the opportunity to make a choice between NDC and debt, I will go for debt…It (Judgement Debt Commission) is a shameless enterprise by a cabal of creators, looters and sharers to find equals in absolutely innocent and patriotic people through a certain contrived creature they call Sole Commission.” He opined that if the Commission was so bent on unearthing the truth in the judgment debt saga, it would have gone after the indicted entities but not watch them "walk about free." “This Commission is not about any investigations into judgment debts which have been paid and paid wrongly, but that can we see if there would opportunities there to get equals.”
