Kwamena
Duncan, Central Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, has
strongly slammed the Mahama administration for failing to find solutions
to the energy crisis confronting the nation.
Contributing to Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Kwamena Duncan bemoaned government's inability to beef up the supply of electricity to consumers.
There have been several inexplicable power cuts in the nation since last year.
A
couple of months ago, government indicated that it was working
assiduously to ensure regular supply of electricity to the entire
nation. But despite the assurance, the nation is constantly being
plunged into total darkness, thus re-igniting discussions on the issue.
Kwamena
Duncan believes the Mahama government cannot solve the energy
challenges and is only throwing dust into the eyes of the public.
To
him, the government lied to Ghanaians about the interventions it has
made to remedy the situation and further questioned the commitment of
President John Mahama to revamp the economy.
“Is there a President who is indeed managing the affairs of this country?” he asked.
