Madam Akua Donkor says the Tundra vehicle has become her bonafide asset since she has successfully fulfilled her promise to the Founder and Presidential candidate of the Progressive People's Party, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom.
Prior to the 2012 elections, Madam Akua Donkor who vehemently expressed interest in contesting the Presidential slot bowed out after she was refused entry into the race.
She failed to produce all the necessary documents to register her name on the ballot sheet.
After her unsuccessful feat in the Presidential contest, PPP under the auspices of Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom enlisted her support and therefore gave her a sleek Tundra vehicle to cruise around town, canvassing for votes for the party.
She was tasked to rally support for Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region where she resides.
Though it is difficult to determine whether Madam Akua Donkor did as told her or not, it appears the long unsettled bout between her and Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom may not efface soon.
Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom though fought a good fight during the December 7,2012 polls; he couldn't clinch victory for his party and therefore came third in the elections.
He has since last year requested the return of all official party vehicles including the Tundra which was handed over to Madam Akua Donkor but this move has been hindered.
Madam Akua Donkor has incessantly flouted the order enjoining her to return the vehicle.
She has sworn never to give back the vehicle since according to her it was given as a token of appreciation for her good job done.
She claimed in an interview with Okay FM on Saturday, January 19, 2013, that the vehicle was given to her on the basis that she gains the trust and support of the masses in Kumasi for the Progressive People's Party; something she stressed she has successfully accomplished.
She categorically stated that she would "shoot" anybody who dares to seize the vehicle from her.
According to her, she has done her bid to deserve the vehicle and therefore no amount of coercion can sap her determination.
She described Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom as a thief and accused him of conniving with the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, to spew lies about the outcome of the elections in order to destabilize the nation.
When asked the veracity of her claims, Madam Akua Donkor said Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom met with Nana Addo to devise a way to discomfit President John Dramani Mahama in order to overturn his legitimacy as the fourth President under the fourth Republic.
She added that the two Presidential candidates, after the meeting, decided to bring charges of electoral fraud against President John Mahama and the Electoral Commission in order to advance their plans to ensure that President Mahama steps down.
According to her, though she was contacted to join the bandwagon, she declined their offer.
This she believes has informed the decision by Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom to retrieve the vehicle from her.
But she has sworn heaven and earth never to return the vehicle even if it demands confrontations.
She continued that she would rather let her "licensed" gun talk for her than humbly deliver the vehicle back to the party.
She concluded that if the party confronts her for the vehicle, she wouldn't hesitate to invoke the curse of the gods on the party.
