The Parliamentary Appointment Committee has begun vetting of ministerial appointees by President John Mahama, despite the minority in parliament boycotting the event.
Members of Parliament of the New Patriotic Party maintained their position to refrain from participating in the vetting process, due to the party's petition against the legitimacy of the President.
Ministerial nominees expected to be vetted today are:
Minister designate for Finance - Seth Terkper
Minister designate for Education - Professor Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang
Minister designate for Communications - Dr. Edward Omane Boamah
Minister designate for foreign Affairs - Hanna Tetteh
