President John Dramani Mahama arrived home from his four day state visit to Turkey on Thursday night.
The
visit was at the invitation of Turkish President Abdullah Gul and was
to further strengthen relations between Ghana and Turkey.
While
there, President held talks with his Turkish counterpart, the Prime
Minister and co-chaired a a bilateral meeting between Ghanaian and
Turkish businesses.
He also inaugurated a new Chancery for Ghana’s mission in Ankara.
President
Mahama was met on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport by Vice
President Amissah Arthur, Ms Hannah Tetteh, caretaker Minister of Trade
and Industry and Mr Hassan Ayariga, presidential candidate of the
People's National Convention in Election 2012 and other government
