His visit is at the invitation of President of Turkey, Abdullah Gül.
They will hold discussions on measures to undertake in boosting the economic and cultural cooperation existing between Ghana and the Turkish government, in addition to other steps to take in order to strengthen the ties between the two countries.
President John Mahama will make a departure from Turkey to Ethiopia to attend the 20th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of States and Governments of the African Union (AU) in Addis Ababa from Friday, January 25 to Tuesday, January 29.
