The late Henry Ford Kamel passed away last month on arrival at the 37 Military Hospital after he collapsed.
Family of the deceased paid a visit to the President at the Castle to brief him about the burial arrangements of the former Volta Regional Minister and late Member of Parliament for Buem.
A family member disclosed that the corpse will be retrieved from the hospital on 22nd February for the funeral rites to begin on Saturday, February 23.
President John Dramani Mahama paid tribute to the late Henry Ford Kamel, touting his hard work and selfless leadership to promote peace in the Volta Region.
The family was grateful to President John Mahama for government’s support by flying the late Minister from the Volta Region to Accra for medical attention.
