A 35-year-old taxi driver has been murdered at South Suntreso, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
Kofi Adu, the taxi driver, was assailed by unknown persons around 01.00 on Wednesday and left in cold blood.
According to residents, they heard cries and shouts for help from the victim but could not come to his aid because of the time in the day.
They later came out and found him dead and left in his Opera Vectra Taxicab with registration number GT 2307P.
The perpetrators fled without taking any belongings from him and it is unknown the persons who committed such crime.
Meanwhile, the deceased body has been deposited at the morgue at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The cause of the murder is still not certain.
