Former President John Agyekum Kufuor asks Ghanaians to mourn late Veep
Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has expressed his condolences to the family of Former Vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, and asked Ghanaians to join in mourning his death.

Vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, was on Friday morning pronounced dead following an undisclosed illness.

He took ill a couple of weeks ago and was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for medical attention. He was in critical condition and put on life-support but later died this morning at age 66.

Former President Kufour who was at the hospital this afternoon to see the body of the late Vice President described him as “a good man and deserves to be mourned”.

 Meanwhile, the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo Addo, has suspended his campaigns together with his Vice who was on a campaign tour to the Northern Region and headed to Accra for the internment of the late Veep.
