Sierra Leonean’s
representative at the 2012 Big Brother Africa Stargame, Zainab O. Sheriff, has
described Ghanaian comedian and representative at the Stargame, Derrick Kobina
Boney (DKB) as a professional slapper.
She noted that the infamous
slap has projected her image across Africa.
“I am the girl with the most
famous slap in Africa, I tell you that slap was not easy ooo, I tell you one
thing for sure, DKB can slap. DKB is a professional slapper.” she said.
In an interview with Bola Ray on Showbiz Today, Zainab said
if she had not been slapped by DKB in the Big Brother house, she wouldn’t have
been famous.
On Monday, June 4, 2012, incensed DKB stamped a mighty slap on the face of Zainab for peeping at him in a shower bath and were both disqualified for misconducting themselves.

DKB was besieged by vilifications
from several persons and media organizations in Ghana and across Africa.
Zainab recounted that she would have ducked the slap if she
had realized it earlier before DKB’s hand flown towards her face. She however
admitted that she is blabber mouthed but her attitude was no news to the housemates
since they were very cognizant of her character.
She indicated that the unfortunate incident suddenly befell them
(she and DKB) and therefore they never thought such misfortune could happen.
Nonetheless, their perceived enmity is over and they have reconciled.
“Well we are over it because I look at things in the positive side. I don’t dwell on negativity, DKB is sorry, I have forgiven him. I have moved on, I hope he has.” she disclosed.
Zainab further expressed her interest in Ghana stating that “Have you been to my country? I don’t like it at all, so when I arrived in Ghana, I just said to myself, I’m gonna change my nationality, I am going to be a Ghanaian and the most thing I like about Ghana is that, Former President Jerry John Rawlings is from Ghana.”
Zainab was in Ghana to party with her Ghanaian housemates; DKB, Eazzy and Keitta. She also appeared at the just-ended 4syte Music Video Awards.
Zainab, who is a model, is currently based in Istanbul Turkey and has been featured in numerous magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire and Elle magazine.
