Four children have drowned in a river in Bunduri
District of the Upper West Region.
The four lost their lives when they were fetching
water melon around the banks of the river.
Relatives of the deceased children and a team of
rescuers have made frantic efforts to retrieve the bodies from the river.
According to an Assemblyman of the area, Amali Mbu,
one body has so far been retrieved but the other three bodies are yet to be
discovered.
