Central Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwamena Duncan says every member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has lost credibility in the face of Ghanaians.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Kwamena Duncan agreed with recent remarks by former President Jerry John Rawlings that "almost everyone’s political credibility has suffered terribly, including Mahama."
“If advantage is not taken to do what needs to be done by the party leadership I am not too sure 2016 will be favourable.
“So far the poor performance and corrupt characters are taking advantage of the support bases’ fear of the opposition to embolden themselves in perpetuating themselves and their crass behaviour. They have grown insensitive and do not seem to give a damnbecause they know the vulnerable and insecure electorate will continue to support the NDC because they are nervous of an opposition take over,” Mr. Rawlings said in a recent statement.
Kwamena Duncan told host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Wednesday that the NDC government, lacks direction and a proper leadership.
“Tell me one single person in the NDC who has not come under integrity crisis?” he queried.
“You don’t seem to see any head. You don’t seem to see anybody carving a direction for them. So, President Rawlings has taken a good look at them and that is what he has summed up in this paragraph; ‘embolden themselves in perpetuating themselves and their crass behaviour’ "and he was perfectly right in describing them.”
“They have all lost credibility; indeed a very terrible loss of credibility.” |
