Member of Parliament (MP) for Kpandai of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mathew Nyindam says the internal wrangling in the New Patriotic Party is a spiritual warfare and so, needs divine intervention.
Speaking on Asempa FM's "Ekosii Sen" programme, Michael Nyindam stated emphatically that members and leadership of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) are responsible for the infighting in the NPP.
He disclosed that ruling party members have hired the services of a "juju Malam" to work some demonic substance on the minds of the NPP leadership.
To him, the NDC has cast an evil spell on the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the only way out is for the NPP to solicit the divine guidance of God.
“What’s happening in the NPP is from a demonic spirit; demonic spirit that has been invoked by the NDC. I will not be surprised that NDC will hire one of their juju Malams to do it. They have an evil intent. The evil spell that they have cast won’t succeed.
“We would not be fighting over some of these issues because those issues are nothing to write home about.
He appealed to the NPP leadership to seek prayers from ordained men of God to revoke the spell that the NDC has cast on the party's National Chair Paul Afoko, Arthur Kennedy former flag-bearer hopeful of the NPP and the leaders of the party.
Picking on Arthur Kennedy, the NPP MP purported that he (Arthur Kennedy) may have lost his bearing due to the evil portion on him and for that matter the NPP must be exorcised.
He believed it is only exorcism that will deliver Arthur Kennedy from captivity so that he begins to direct writing skills to something more useful.
“The NDC, I believe are capable and working with these Malams but we shall prevail. I can assure them, they can never succeed in their spiritual machinations against the party…,” he blurted out.
