Kwamena Duncan, NPP Central Regional Secretary, has confirmed the membership of aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya West, George Andah to the New Patriotic Party.
Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo”, Kwamena Duncan, who is a member of the party's regional vetting committee, discounted claims that George Andah is not an NPP member and further disclosed that documental evidence available to the party proves that he (George Andah) has since been a staunch member.
“We were dumbfounded when he showed his party card and other pieces of evidence to prove that he is a member of the party. These show he has been an active member of the party except that he has not been a frontline member.
“You cannot in your right senses say that he is not a member of the party.”
He further added that George Andah has been vetted and met all the requirements, hence is qualified to contest the Awutu Senya West seat. |
