James Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly called Kabila has cautioned President John Dramani Mahama not to blame any person for his failures and the woes of the nation.
According to him, President John Mahama should direct his anger and frustrations on his own government officials who have seemingly proven beyond doubt that they cannot fix the regular power cuts.
Speaking on Peace FM on "Kokrokoo", Kabila admonished the President saying he should blame himself for his unending promises to Ghanaians that the erratic power supply "dum sor" will end sooner or later.
He recounted some promises that the President made years ago regarding the power crises and also the NDC manifesto that purported that the "dum sor" will be dealt with by the end of December 2013.
The Convention People's Party (CPP) firebrand, Kabila wondered why the problem has persisted despite the President's assurances of better days ahead.
“Who are those telling us the dates? Is it not the same President and his team? Who told us that by end of April, we will have emergency power plants in Ghana?...End of April; what is today’s date?...So, who has been giving us the dates? His Excellency should be directing his anger and dissatisfaction at his own person and his team… not us.”
“We will be cynical so long as you’re not proving that you are a fulfilling man. Go and take the NDC manifesto for 2012, I think on page 58 or so (is it 158); it’s stated there black and white that energy crises will end by 2013 December. We are in 2015 for Christ’s sake for crying out loud," he blurted out. |
