Francis Addai Nimo, one of the Presidential candidates who contested Nana Addo during the party's Presidential elections last year, has called on his party members to allow the Ghana Police Service the freedom to conduct investigations into the murder case regarding the late Adams Mahama.
Speaking in an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Francis Addai Nimo admonished the rank and file of the party not to do anything to disrupt police investigations.
According to him, the murder of the NPP Upper East Regional Chairman, Adams Mahama is most unfortunate; however resorting to any kind of violence will not help the peaceful process in the party.
“We should allow the Police, the National Security to do their work and let the findings come out. Let the appropriate State institutions to take the necessary steps to have whatever decisions to-be-made to be made…Of course, it is pathetic because when the soul of a person departs, it doesn’t come back. But whiles the soul has departed, we still have got to live,” he said. |
