EDEN hails Otumfuo Osei Tutu
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has received praise from the Eden Group of Companies for initiating a project that will reduce the costs of leasing a land in the Ashanti Region.
The project dubbed “Lease Documentation Project” is inducted to eliminate the delays that characterize the preparation of land grants in order to make lands affordable to people.
Executive Board Chairman of the Eden Group of Companies, William Adom Boateng in support of the initiative, says the project will provide protection for land acquisition and root out any land litigation in the Kumasi metropolis.
He explained that “Challenges with land lease should be a thing of the past. Now, those of us with landed property but constrained with accessing lease can heave a sigh of relief; they can now access loans using their property as collateral to expand their businesses.”
The project stipulates that from November 12, 2012 to February 28, 2013, the cost of leasing lands to persons and institutions will be cut down.
The initiative by Otumfuo Osei Tutu is to enhance the socio-economic development of the Kumasi metropolis.
Mr. Adom Boateng commended Otumfuo and his elders for initiating the project and advised people to utilize the opportunity to obtain appropriate land documentation.
