Natural Face wins Overall Best Video Amidst electrifying performances from hip life and hip hop music icons, the auditorium of the 4syte Music Video Awards 2012 was set on fire on November 17 as the audience were thrilled to their feet.

Several artistes were honoured on the night for their artistic compositions and videos that complemented their music.

Natural Face, who until recently was a unique rookie in the Ghanaian music circles, held his naturalness high to merit the Overall Best Video for the year 2011. The natural “So High” hitmaker on the night amassed four prestigious awards out of the five categories he was nominated in.

He won Best Directed Video, Best Photography, Best Discovery Video and Overall Best Video. Volta heavyweight, Ayigbe Edem, won the Best Reggae Video with his wide-played “Ghetto Arise” and award-winning trio, Vision in Progress, (VIP), also picked two awards: the Best Group Video and Best Edited Video with their song “Pampanaa”.

Manifest, EL and the invincible rapperholic, Sarkodie were all awarded with the ‘Best Hip Hop Video’, ‘Most Popular Video’ and ‘Best Hip Life Video’ respectively with ‘Makaa Makaa’, ‘Kaalu’ and ‘Saa Okodie No’ featuring Obrafour.

There were performances from VIP, Asem , Keche, 4x4 and R2Bees.
