I will put up a good performance at the IEA debate – Hassan Ayariga

Presidential Candidate of the People's National Convention, Hassan Ayariga, says he will put up an outstanding performance at the second and final round of the IEA Presidential debate which will be held tonight at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.
He promised to outwit his counterparts and therefore “wow” Ghanaians during the debate.
The second IEA debate will commence on Wednesday, November 21 after it was postponed from Tuesday in compliance with President John Mahama’s directive that a five-day national mourning period is observed in memory of the late former Vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama.
The debate tonight will feature Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, President John Dramani Mahama, Presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party, Dr Michael Abu Sakara, Hassan Ayariga of the People’s National Convention and Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
Following the balloting for positions by the four political parties, President John Mahama will take the first seat, Abu Sakara, Hassan Ayariga and Nana Addo will occupy the second, third and fourth seats respectively.
The Presidential candidates will answer questions bordering on good governance, particularly issues such as corruption, the rule of law, bureaucracy, peace and security, the management of the country’s natural resources and gender issues among others.
Speaking ahead of the debate, PNC Presidential candidate, Hassan Ayariga says he is fully prepared for the debate and promised to put up a good performance.

He says, unlike the first IEA debate which took place at Tamale, he will now be allowed to refer from his notes to table his prospective policies and proposals.
He explained that “Last time it was only Hassan Ayariga who went into the debate without a manifesto; his party would admit, without notes, without Ipad and without and foreign document. I am also going there with my notes."

"I am well prepared, even though sick, i am promising Ghanaians that it will be a wonderful day for Hassan Ayariga and the PNC and they can count on me."
