NDC, NPP fight on radio

The Ashanti regional branch of the ruling NDC has registered their uttermost disgust at the alleged fisticuffs between a member of the NPP Communications team, Hopeson Adorye Kesse, and Donkor Fuseini, an NDC stalwart.

The two who were on Kessben FM’s democratic show last Saturday are reported to have misunderstood each other which resulted in a heated argument and ended in a brawl.

Hopeson Adorye Kesse allegedly assaulted the NDC activist who reportedly sustained some degrees of injuries and the police are said to be hunting for him.

On the heels of this incident, the Ashanti Regional chapter of the NDC will hold a press conference to establish the facts that led to the skirmish.

According to the Regional Secretary, Joseph Yamin, the victim will appear to show his wounds to the media as evidence to what transpired during the radio programme. Meanwhile, Hopeson Adorye claims Fuseini Donkor rained insults on him and stirred his anger to engage in the skirmish.

He said that the NDC activist started the fight by throwing a punch at him which he ducked. The New Patriotic Party General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, however says the party will render an apology if the claims by the NDC stalwart are proven to be true.
