Cocoa Farmers Praise Government for an increase in producer cocoa price

The Ashanti Coffee and Shea Nut Farmers Association has commended the government for increasing the producer price of cocoa in the country.

 Speaking in a meeting of the Association at Offinso in the Ashanti Region, the District Chief farmer, Nana Kwaku Duah, made an appeal to government to facilitate the payment of their bonuses to help them cater for their families.

 Some members expressed their gratitude to the government and believed the increment will stimulate them to work hard to achieve high cocoa productivity.
